#dailynews60 The upcoming Jawa motorcycle has been seen undisguised and in a production-ready version. This should certainly get biking enthusiasts doubly excited!
Images of the upcoming Jawa 300 motorcycle have been revealed to the delight of biking enthusiasts across the country. The new Jawa takes design inspiration from the older version and comes with features like signature headlights, a dual-tone chrome finish for the fuel tank, retro telescopic fork, flat saddle, flared mudguards with pinstripes and twin peashooter pipes which hark back to the Jawa 250 Type A model, the first model from the brand to be available for sale in the Indian market.
There is also the famous maroon hue for the Jawa motorcycle although the positioning of the ignition switch has changed and this is also applicable for the tail light. There will be a single cylinder 293 cc liquid cooled engine with dual camshafts and makes 27 hp and 28 Nm. There is a 6-speed gearbox for the motorcycle with the architecture being shared with the 300 cc Mojo engine. This engine will be BS-VI compliant too.
The swingarm and frame are also quite different as compared to the Mojo. There are front telescopic forks along with twin rear shock absorbers which also come with a bottom gas-charged canister. There is a single disc brake in front along with a rear drum brake. There could also be a single channel ABS unit for the bike. The new Jawa 300 will be unveiled on the 15th of November, 2018 in Mumbai as per reports. It will take on the Royal Enfield Classic 350.
