PR Professionals forays into film production
New Delhi [India], July 3: After its successes in the PR industry, India’s leading PR agency, PR Professionals, has announced a new collaboration with 9 Films. With this collaboration, PR Professionals has ventured into filmmaking.
The duo announced their first short movie ‘Others’ jointly produced by 9 Films and PR Professionals.
The short film is based on Boxing, but in practice, it appears much more than boxing as a competition. It is a human-kind and interesting story, reflecting gender empowerment of neglected individuals in the society. This thought-provoking film will be displayed on Sony Liv.
While Rajveer Ahuja, 9 films and Sarvesh Tiwari of PR Professionals are jointly producing it, Sachin Shinde, one of the recent recipients of IFTDA award is the director.
The renowned actor, Shashank Arora, who played major roles in the films Manto, Title, Brahman Raman, Lipstick Under My Burkha and others, and another well-known Bollywood actor, Asif Basra, who played an important role in various Bollywood movie like Freaky Ali, Krrish 3, would earn lead roles in the movie – ‘Others’.
The ‘Media Konnect’, a Global Exchange Platform, collaborated as a Talent Partner for “Others”.
While, ‘Others’ is the 36th film by the production house, the renowned 9 Films, Girl in red, Peanut Butter, Mukti are among few other well-famed movies of the House.
On another hand, this is the first step of PR Professionals in the film industry.

We hope that our association will certainly bring laurel for each other as well as the society in days to come. It’s really a mind-blowing beginning of our joint venture. If everything goes well, possibilities of winning a national award cannot be ruled out,” said Rajveer Ahuja, founder 9 Films.
“I am very enthused to step up in the area of the film industry. This is the first such project that has motivated me to search for a greener pasture in the film industry,” said Sarvesh Tiwari, Founder and Managing Director, PR Professionals, adding the upcoming movie was based on a victim of biases and social injustice.
“Since the film talks about the empowerment of the third gender which is itself a unique among other projects, possibilities outstanding effects on the society cannot be ignored,” said Tiwari, who is the co-producer of the short movie, ‘Others’.
Falling under the purview of the top PR Companies of India, PR Professionals have so far worked in the areas of brand management, corporate communication, social media, crisis management, event management, government and public affairs.
